Albany, NY---- TerraNOVA
International, LLC, of Albany, NY announced today that
it has acquired the assets of TerraNOVA International of
Lafayette, CA. TerraNOVA International is a leading provider of desktop and
internet-enabled products and solutions for business
intelligence applications.
The company was ranked 5th among MapInfo U.S.
Resellers in 2004. Tracy Walklet, founder of TerraNOVA
International, will continue to be active within the
organization until final transition is complete.
David
Ries, the new president of TerraNOVA International, LLC,
brings over ten years of sales experience to the
business. David has sold GIS applications and solutions
to major retail firms, real estate companies, financial
services organizations, and service- based companies,
including those among the Fortune 500.
TerraNOVA
International was established in the early 1990's to
provide customized digital mapping solutions for
business and government using the maturing suite of
software and data products from companies such as
MapInfo Corporation. Since that time, the company has
served well over 400 organizations. TerraNOVA has
customers all over the United States and draws upon
products and services from around the globe.
TerraNOVA's
staff and extended family of training and consulting
resources provides complete end-to-end services for the
novice, as well as experienced customer. The company
